This policy explains what data Cortex Overdrive s. r. o. ("we", "us") collects through cortexoverdrive.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep this simple on purpose: we don't run ads, we don't sell data, and we collect as little as we can get away with.

What we collect
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the service you're asking about, and whatever you write in the message. This is processed through Netlify Forms and used solely to reply to your enquiry — we don't add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone outside our team.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Plausible is cookieless and doesn't collect any personal data or fingerprint your device — it reports aggregate numbers (page views, referrers, approximate country, device type) that can't be tied back to you individually. Because no personal data or cookies are involved, this doesn't require a cookie consent banner.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Netlify, which, like virtually any web host, processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) as part of serving the site and keeping it secure. We don't access these logs for anything beyond troubleshooting.
Fonts
We load the Inter and Sora typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which can see your IP address as part of that request. We don't control what Google does with that request.
Legal basis
We process contact form submissions to respond to your enquiry (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps at your request). We use analytics under legitimate interest, limited to aggregate, non-identifying statistics.
Who we share data with
Netlify (hosting and form storage) and Google (font delivery) act as processors in the course of running the site. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to an individual, so there's no personal data to delete on a schedule.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to how we process it
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise any of these, email support@cortexoverdrive.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Slovakia's data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
Security
We rely on Netlify's infrastructure for hosting, which includes standard protections like HTTPS encryption in transit. We don't store passwords or payment details on this site.

If we change what we collect or why, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
